Explore the V\u00e9lomaritime from Saint Malo<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The section of the V\u00e9lomaritime in Saint-Malo is spectacular: (and it’s not just us saying it!)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here at the Domaine de la Ville Huchet campsite<\/strong>, we’re lucky enough to be less than 2 km from one of France’s most beautiful cycling circuits: the V\u00e9lomaritime<\/strong>, also known as EuroVelo 4. This bike ride skirts the Emerald Coast<\/strong> and lets you pedal between cliffs, small ports, beaches, ramparts… and of course, a few cr\u00eaperies along the way (we’ve got our priorities \ud83d\ude04). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is it so popular? Because in less than 20 kilometers, you’ll pass through some iconic places: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • the listed village of Saint-Suliac, nestled in the Rance valley,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • the ramparts of Saint-Malo, with their breathtaking sea views,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • the Emerald Coast, between the beaches of the Sillon, rocky points and discreet coves,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • and, of course, Cancale, with its oyster beds and view of Mont-Saint-Michel Bay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    All this on a marked, flat and accessible itinerary, perfect for a family outing or a cool day out, with a pancake or picnic break on the agenda. Frankly, it’s hard to get much more complete… or more Breton! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    A cycling route between Brittany and the North Sea<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    If you often hear about the V\u00e9lomaritime, it’s not by chance. It’s part of one of Europe’s great cycling itineraries: EuroVelo 4, which links Roscoff to Dunkirk, covering almost 1,500 km of coastline to discover by bike. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the program: the Pink Granite Coast, the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, the D-Day landing beaches, the cliffs of \u00c9tretat, the Bay of the Somme, the Opal Coast… A string of coastal landscapes and historic sites to explore at your own pace. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

    The route is 100% signposted, safe and designed to be accessible to all: families, Sunday cyclists or long-distance enthusiasts. It mixes greenways, low-traffic roads, coastal stretches and quiet valleys. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And to help you rest or recharge your batteries (your bike or your legs), the itinerary is dotted with practical services: “Accueil V\u00e9lo” accommodation (like ours), rest areas, VAE recharging stations, rental companies and local advice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

Don’t worry: we work with V\u00e9lo Emeraude <\/strong> to offer you classic bikes, electric bikes, children’s bikes and accessories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
