Questions about leisure and activities
Is access to the pool free?
Access to the swimming pool is free and reserved exclusively for campsite residents. Wearing the wristband provided on arrival is compulsory. Please note: In accordance with ARS Bretagne regulations, shorts may be worn, but swimming shorts and other swimwear, as well as inflatable games, are prohibited.
When are the outdoor and indoor pools open?
The indoor pool is open all season. The outdoor pool is open and heated from June 1ᵉʳ until the end of September. Opening hours for both pools are 10 am to 7 pm. One night a week is organized in July and August. The pools are unsupervised, so children must be accompanied by an adult and are under their own supervision. Please note: swimming shorts and other swimwear, as well as inflatable games, are not permitted.
What activities are on offer at Domaine de la Ville Huchet?
Domaine de la Ville Huchet features a mini-golf course, two table tennis tables, a billiards table, a children’s playground, a multi-sports field, a pétanque court, a gym and a sauna. In high season, there’s also a children’s club (ages 5 to 10).
Is it possible to book outdoor activities with the campsite?
Tickets for the Grand Aquarium de Saint-Malo and the Zoo de la Bourbansais can be booked through us (preferential rates), as well as bike hire (delivery to the campsite). Cabs can also be booked.
How far is the campsite from Intra-muros/Porte Saint-Vincent? How far is the sea?
The campsite is located at the entrance to Saint-Malo, 2 km from the banks of the Rance, 4 km from the beach of the lime kilns and 6.5 km from the old town and its beaches.
Is it possible to get to Intra-muros by bus?
Yes, thanks to line 1 (every 30 minutes from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.). The nearest stop is “Croix Ruaux”, 450 m from the campsite, and stops at the foot of the old town ramparts. In July and August, line 8 is also open (12 runs/day). The bus stop is at the campsite entrance. Preferential-rate tickets available at reception.
Are there any local markets nearby?
Yes, almost every day within a 30 km radius (Saint-Malo, Dinard, Cancale, Dinan etc., more information at the campsite reception).
Questions about motor homes, caravans, mobile home sales (owners)
Do you rent caravans or tents?
No, campsites are rented bare. You need to bring your own equipment. However, since the 2026 season, we have been offering stage cabins for 2 people.
Do you sell mobile homes?
No, there are no mobile homes for sale.
Do you offer an emptying area for motorhomes?
Yes, you’ll find a draining and water filling area on site.
I’d like to bring my trailer/my boat/my jet ski. Is this possible?
For specific requests, please contact reception directly.
Questions about reservations and payments
Are ANCV vacation vouchers accepted?
Yes, paper vacation vouchers are accepted for the deposit and the balance. We advise you to send them by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt, to ensure that they are received correctly.
Are CAF (VACAF) vouchers and luncheon vouchers accepted?
No.
Is the campsite an ACSI partner?
Yes, ACSI rates are available in low season on presentation of annual membership card. The rate includes 2 people, a pitch with 10 Amp electricity, one vehicle and 1 pet.
How much is the tourist tax?
The tourist tax is 0.65€ per adult per night for rentals and pitches and 0.99€ for apartments (set by local authorities). We also charge an eco-participation of 0.50€ per adult per night.
How much does cancellation insurance cover, and under what conditions?
The supplement is 3.5% of the total cost of the stay. For more information, visit www.campez-couvert.com.
How do I pay for my stay?
It is possible to pay the balance by vacation cheque (we recommend sending it by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt), credit card, bank transfer, cheque (minimum 30 days before arrival, otherwise cheques are not authorized as a method of payment) or on the Domaine de la Ville Huchet website. To do so, click on “Access my reservation” in the top right-hand corner, where you will be asked to enter your name and customer number.
How much is the deposit for accommodation?
The deposit per accommodation is 300€ (150€ for a private bathroom). An email will be sent to you before your arrival by our partner Swikly to offer you the possibility of depositing your deposit online before your arrival, thus saving time on arrival. Alternatively, you can leave your deposit at reception by credit card imprint or cheque.
Are pets allowed?
They are accepted in certain accommodations (depending on the category and weight of the animal) for a supplement of €5 per night and per animal (maximum 2 animals per family).
Please note that the animal must have an up-to-date vaccination record, a valid rabies vaccination and be identified by a tattoo or microchip certified by a card issued by Société Générale Canine.
Pets must be kept on a leash and are not allowed in communal areas such as restaurants, auditoriums, bars, grocery stores or swimming pools.
Category 1 and 2 dogs are not accepted.
Are unaccompanied minors accepted?
Minors unaccompanied by their parents or a legal guardian of legal age (close relative, supervisor or authorized teacher) will not be admitted to the site for obvious safety and liability reasons (notably weather warnings, illness or hospitalization…).
Questions about arrival and departure times and length of stay
Is it possible to enter or leave the campsite outside reception hours?
It is possible to pass through the gates all day long between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. thanks to license plate recognition. However, it is no longer possible to enter the campsite from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
What is the minimum length of stay?
In low season, for accommodation (Mobile homes, Apartments, Cabanes lodges, Chalets Tyt’Home, Taos) the minimum stay is 2 nights, except for bank holiday weekends.
In high season, the minimum length of stay for accommodation is 7 nights, with the exception of the hiker’s and cyclist’s hut, which can be rented for one night only, even in high season.
On campsites, for bare pitches and for the whole season, the minimum stay is 1 night, except for Premium pitches (3 nights minimum in high season).
What are the arrival and departure times for pitches?
Campsite arrivals are from 2 pm. Departures must be before 12 noon. If you wish to leave before the campsite opens, or arrive late after the campsite closes, please contact reception beforehand.
What are the check-in and check-out times for accommodation?
For accommodation, arrivals are from 4 pm. In the event of late arrival, please inform reception (arrangements can be made for late arrivals). Departures must be before 10 a.m.
Questions about camping
Do I have to pay extra to use the showers?
No, access to showers is free for residents.
Are the washrooms heated?
Toilet block 1, located in the middle of the campsite next to the petanque court, is a closed building heated in low season. Washing and drying facilities are available (tokens for sale at reception).
What is the maximum number of people per campsite?
The maximum number of people per pitch is 6.
What is the minimum age at which the “adult” rate applies to camping pitches?
Children over 13 years of age at the start of the holiday will be charged the same rate as adults. An official document proving the age of the children may be requested at the beginning of the stay.
Questions about camping services
Does your campsite offer Wi-Fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi access is free in the reception building / snack bar / bar / grocery store. To connect to the rest of the campsite, some accommodations include an Internet connection. For others, individual tickets or family packs (by the hour, day or week) are on sale at reception – purchase possible when booking your stay online or on site.
When are the crêperie and snack bar open?
The bar, snack bar and grocery store are open from the opening of the campsite for the duration of the season.
The crêperie is open from mid-April to mid-September, every evening from 6pm except Wednesday. Reservations required.
The snack bar is open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. in low season and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in high season.
The bar is open from 8.30am to 8pm in low season and from 8am to 11pm in high season.
Is it possible to buy bread and pastries?
Yes, provided you order before 7pm the day before at reception.
How do you sort your waste?
We have 4 types of garbage cans for sorting our waste:
– Yellow bins for cardboard, plastic, cans, etc.
– Glass bins
– Household waste bins
– Biowaste, then digested by our “Shrek” digester
Don’t hesitate to consult the notices in the garbage can to find out how to sort your waste.
Do you rent out baby equipment?
Yes, you can rent a cot, high chair and/or bathtub (subject to availability).
Questions about practical information about accommodation
Is the campsite accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes, the campsite and all its services and facilities are accessible and up to standard. A two-bedroom mobile home to PMR standards and a launching system for the indoor swimming pool are available (see reception).
Are the accommodations smoking?
No, all our accommodations are non-smoking.
Are sheets included in the price of accommodation?
Sheets are included only for TAOS Molène and TAOS Belle-Ile mobile homes. For other accommodations, sheets can be rented at an additional cost.
However, undersheets, pillows and comforters are included in the rental price.
Are single beds in accommodation twin or bunk beds?
In all accommodations, single beds are twin beds, except in Tyt’home Chalets, PMR mobile homes and the third single bed in Cabanes Lodges.
Is there room for a cot in the accommodation?
In some accommodations, space is provided for a crib. This information appears on every accommodation sheet on our website. If in doubt, please contact reception at the time of booking to find out more. The family mobile home is fully equipped for small children.
Please note: 1 baby = 1 person.
